Y.I. Care Day in Washington, October 13. Be there.

It’s time for us to be heard. On Tuesday, October 13, we need you in Washington. RSVP here.

The historic health care reform bills continue to work their way through Congress. While the bills are a step forward, they still need improvement, particularly with regard to issues that affect young people. As we get closer to the deciding moment for reform, now is the time for us to make our voices heard around the need for health care reform so that every American, young and old, can get quality, affordable health care.

Join us. RSVP now.

Y.I. Care Day
will be our moment to let Congress know, loud and clear, exactly what we want. We will have a base of operations near the Capitol where we’ll send you out to community service events around DC, because improving health care is essentially about improving our community as a whole. We will set up meetings for you with your representatives in Washington so you can tell them personally why you want reform. Finally, we will have a major press conference where we can get loud, have fun, and speak up.

But we can’t do any of this without you. So come to Washington and tell Congress why you care.

It’s time.
