Yes We Can – Barackapella

This is a song put together by a group of students from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon.  They did it for a fundraiser for the campaign and it was the one song I kept returning to throughout the campaign cycle.  Why?  Though it’s done by a bunch of college kids with no real production value, based on a song by Will.I.Am, the way the song is put together, each member getting a bit of the limelight, each member of the group bringing distinct sounds to the song, is how I perceive the Obama campaign came together throughout the election.

It’s inspired, it’s funny, and the tall guy with the deep voice is a hoot. Enjoy
